JobNote app on site

Day to day

  • Price a board change or a few extra sockets in front of the customer and send the quote before you leave.
  • Book out cable and accessories from your price list. Picked something up from the wholesaler on the way? Put in the cost and where it came from, so the office knows to bill it.
  • Tap in and out on site so the hours on the job are right.
  • Invoice from the job: a quoted job bills the quote, otherwise it's your hours and parts at sell price.

Certificates

Keep doing your EICRs and installation certificates in your scheme's own app (NICEIC, NAPIT and so on), then attach the PDF to the installation in JobNote (added as a piece of equipment). Tick "Customer sees it" and it shows in their login.

JobNote's own certificates are on the roadmap. They'll be locked to the right trade, so only someone set up for electrical work can sign an electrical certificate.

Servicing and periodic work

Add an installation as equipment with a service interval, and JobNote shows you when it's due. The starter checklist covers the consumer unit's condition, RCD test buttons, damage to accessories and visible earthing and bonding. Change it to suit you.

Electricians who do more

Plenty of electricians also fit fire alarms, emergency lighting, door access and CCTV. JobNote has checklists for all of those too.

Everything else

Customers, jobs, quotes, invoices, a price list, team logins and a customer portal. See everything JobNote does.
